Niku Kazori
Niku Kazori joined Eyewitness News in September 2024. She is originally from Houston, Texas, but excited to make Southern California her new home!

Niku majored in broadcast journalism with a minor in philosophy from the University of St Thomas. She started her career as a weather anchor in Lubbock, Texas, and Charleston, South Carolina, before making the switch to news. Niku was a multimedia journalist and shot and edited her own stories in Knoxville and San Antonio.

Prior to joining ABC7, Niku was a news, weather and traffic anchor in Seattle.

Niku is fluent in Farsi and American Sign Language. Some of her favorite hobbies are piano, pilates, and taking her fur baby on day trips! She also lived in Okinawa, Japan, with her husband, who is in the Air Force.

Niku loves immersing herself in her community, whether it's volunteering, emceeing or checking out new small businesses. Niku is a fan of the poet Rumi and strives to live her life by his philosophy: enjoy the moment, spread love, and peace. She loves coffee, red wine, sushi and spending time at the beach. She's proud to work at ABC7 and call L.A. home!
